Welcome to school year 2020-2021 at The READY Program! We are happy to be able to safely return to school with social distancing and other precautions in place to protect our students and staff. A couple of things to remember when sending your student to school on August 18th:
*ALL STUDENTS AND STAFF MUST WEAR A MASK THROUGHOUT THE SCHOOL DAY. Students will be allowed to remove them to eat breakfast and lunch. We will be serving breakfast and lunch each day; however, only one student will be allowed per table in the cafeteria. *Wednesday, August 19th will be our first remote learning day, and students will get directions from teachers on Tuesday, so they know what is required for remote learning Wednesday's.
*As the school year progresses, and we get mandates/guidelines from the State and local agencies, we will communicate any changes in our schedule.
*We look forward to seeing all of our students on Tuesday, August 18th @ 8:00AM! Thank you!
The READY Program will be hosting registration for Fall, 2020 on the following dates and times:
- Tuesday, July 28, from 1-6pm
- Thursday, July 30, from 1-6pm
- Friday, July 31, from 8-2pm
*Masks must be worn upon entering the Illinois Terminal Building and The READY Program. There will be socially distanced tables for parents/guardians to complete registration.
*Only parent/guardian and student should come to registration.

READY UPDATE: On Friday, April 17th, Governor Pritzker announced that school facilities will remain closed for the rest of the school year. This is a heartbreaking way to close out our school year. We miss our students very much. This extended closure means we will continue with our previously announced remote learning plans for the remainder of the year. READY REMINDER: There is NO SCHOOL on Friday, April 10th or Monday, April 13th for Spring Holiday. Teachers will not be available on those days, however please don't hesitate to e-mail Mrs. Thomas or Mr. Koerner with questions or concerns. Stay healthy and safe! Thank you!
READY UPDATE: Hello, READY family! We hope you are healthy and doing well during this current situation. We understand that not being in school and trying to engage in remote learning can be stressful. We are all in this together, and we are here for you to offer whatever supports we can. If you need help with anything, please contact the teachers, social workers, or administration. Stay positive!
READY UPDATE: For those of you who indicated needing to use a Chromebook, we will distribute those on Friday, 3/27/20 and Monday, 3/30/20, from 12-2pm. Please enter the terminal building and report to the Fitness Room across from Subway on the 1st floor. A READY staff member will be there to get your signature and assign you a Chromebook. READY UPDATE: On Friday, March 20th, the Governor of Illinois mandated, due to the COVID-19 public health crisis, that all public and private schools remain closed until April 8th. The new return to school date as of right now is April 8th. However, please know this could change again. Our previously sent information regarding the next two weeks remains in place. Thank you!
READY UPDATE: The READY Program will be closed until Monday, March 30th as mandated by the State. You can find more information under "News" on our website at www.readyprogram.org. Meals will be provided by home schools for all READY students, so please contact them for details.
READY ALERT: At the advice from the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District and the Champaign-Ford County Regional Office of Education #9, we have cancelled Parent-Teacher Conferences for today. Students will be dismissed at 12:00PM. No school on Friday, March 13th. Thank you!
