DESCRIPTION: UDL Principles are a set of guidelines and checkpoints that can help you reach each student. The three primary principles of Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression help you redefine your teaching practice by proactively planning for variability and removing barriers to learning. This session will provide an in-depth dive into what this looks like for your practice and provide opportunities to plan and create activities to reach your learners through implementable strategies.

OBJECTIVES:

  • Review and discuss the UDL principles of Engagement, Representation, and Action & Expression

  • Examine and translate the UDL guidelines and checkpoints for your practice

  • Experiment with the creation of UDL inspired lessons and assignments

*Session is FREE to attend. Registration is required. Earn 2 PD Hours.
